People in soaps work in reasonably low paid jobs for around 30 minutes a day, freeing them up to drink expensive pints in the pub morning, noon and night. Recent mothers also manage to do this, with their babies obviously happily sleeping on their own at home 23 hours a day....
They always are in the pub with everyone who lives on their actual street, because normally people always, spend all their time with everyone on their street, and are related to them by blood or bodily-fluid exchange.
