Now would be likely be a bit of a disaster tbh.
Any of the big names that we might have a chance of attracting in the summer are, for various reasons, not right at the moment. Mourinho (never going to leave Real for us and we probably can't satisfy his desire for signings), Hiddink (isn't he officially still employed in some capacity by Roman? He won't allow him to come here), Benitez (would piss off the players) and Van Gaal (would cause our whole squad to put in transfer requests). Would probably lead to us taking a 'gamble' on someone like Lambert or Rodgers. I may have to harm myself if Levy goes after Moyes.
Might actually be good for us if all parties come to an agreement that Redknapp leaves us to go manage England immediately after the season ends. We were potentially going to be stuck in the unfortunate position of now knowing whether our manager was going to stay until late/mid July. Which obviously isn't ideal. Now at least we'll know one way or another much earlier.
Don't really follow world football that much anymore tbh, any managers from the Spanish/German/French leagues we're likely to nick if we can do so in the summer?
Then again, according to some Redknapp is a pretty terrible manager and Levy is the genius behind the scenes so maybe Levy will do away with the facade and start managing Spurs.
For what its worth, I don't think Redknapp will leave us now, he'll want to finish this season imo. But for a man of Redknapp's *cough* dubious loyalties, its hard to predict.
