I was under the impression that as weird as it sounds, dehydration causes water retention? But that might be in a healthy state.

It's probably a mixture of losing water weight, losing some fat and a mental thing as well though. When you don't go to the gym and stop gaining you automatically feel like you're getting smaller. You're bound to lose a bit from not eating very well and your body being preoccupied with fighting the illness though.

I'd love to find out my bf%.
