We're in decline relative to the last 5 years imo, but in 5 years time I think we'll be back near the top. Lots of promising youngsters, if even a few of them make it we should be fine.

That could be our first XI in 5 years, which today on current ability would still be a decent match for most teams. Given that DDG Smalling Jones Rafael Fabio Cleverley Pogba Hernandez Welbeck Macheda will all improve still, I don't see a long term decline for us.

*I don't think either Pogba or Anderson will be here in 5 years time.
