It's always busy but not normally to the extent that it's much of a problem. There's usually a grill going outside with burgers on sale and loads of people stay outside where there is loads of room which helps. Obviously you'll need to be indoors for watching the early k/o though. It's a pretty big pub, if you're getting there early enough to be watching the City game from the start I reckon you'll find seats pretty easily.
