Kenny Cooper was never really going to make the grade at United. He was built like a tank, and perhaps would have been thrown into the centre of defence had he been an English kid.
From his performances on the pitch, he looked like the kid that was always left towards the end of the playground selection process. Not the last one, as he has some skill, but not good enough to be first. His effort was there to be seen, and I wish him well for the future, but he was never going to jump ahead of the likes of Rossi, Blake and Campbell.
