But since we're all here... You can't make sweeping generalisations about FC anymore than you can "Big" united.

All I can say is that when discussing FC in pubs etc. I have a answer and a put down for every snide comment made except... "Surely the more successful you are, the closer you're going to get, to what you've tried to get away from"

Which leaves me flummuxed... having said that it'll be 10 years at the earliest before FC could be in the premiership and I would be pleasantly suprised if we're even out of the Conference by then, so it reality the whole question is so far off in the future, it's irrelevant.

As for shirt sponsorship/ticket prices etc. It's all bull-shit that you've been taught by Sky and the Premiership.

Barcelona have no shirt sponsor and they're champions of Europe. Most Spanish, German and Italian teams charge between £70 and £300 for a adult season ticket (Barca's cheapest is £80)
