If you go down the price line that many decide to excuse their behaviour with, there were plenty of local clubs that people could have supported if they wanted a day out; for people in Manchester the list is quite endless, from league clubs like Stockport, Bury, Rochdale, to lower clubs such as Salford City and Altrincham for example (all of which would love and actually need as much support as they can get - these clubs have significant history), there was no need to create another club. In creating another club they have done nothing less than create a future competitor to Manchester United, and I wonder where their loyalties will lie if FCUM and Manchester United ever end up in the same division. They probably won't as their supposed philosophy of how FCUM is run will not allow for this; my feeling however is that philosophy will be throw out of the window the more successful they become. So where do the loyalties lie?
I was all for trying to stop Glazer, but FCUM is out of order when its supporters also claim to be Manchester United supporters. It's having the cake and also eating it. It's hypocritical, sly, and weak. I respect (don't agree with the way they have done it) those FCUM supporters that have cut all ties with Manchester United, but those that haven't are scabs and no better than the cnuts at MK Dons.

i take an interest weaste and its well within my rights to do so, and FCUM are not a 'proffesional' club. I used to go to Kingstonian week in week out as a kid and my interest in FCUM is no different.
Im no 'scab' and do not see myself as hypocritical, sly or weak, it suprises me you feel that way if im honest, but entitlement to your opinion is what a site like this is all about, and you may look at it however you want.
That being said i dont think namecalling and judgement is called for to be fair mate, dont make me any less of a united fan that i take an interest in FCUM, and i think that those who protested against it, running on the pitch and so forth are sad cunts.
would be interesting to know, after i spent over 13 hours on a coach last monday to see a 6th round replay where all these 'die hard' supporters had gone, 62,000 was the attendance or there abouts.
To be honesy weaste i have no problem with your opinion, nor particularly what you have said and the way you have voiced it, just that i find some peoples input largely spastic for want of a better word, you have at least stated your reasons and thats fine, i however just happen to think differently
