thats a very fair point.
you do realize that every government is as corrupt as any corporation

democratically elected means nothing, when its blatantly horrible, like northroad mentioned, the people do not elect it over again.
thats a fair point as well.
now consider this - United has over 75 million fans. England has a complex infrastructure , as any advanced country, which allows it to hold a fairly efficient voting process.
as long as you have a few thousand people it all seems peachy, i would love you to hold this vote among 75 million in over 200 countries. the expenses would probably eclipse your entire budget.
you know communism is probably the most beautiful and fair theory, the idea is ideal.
but it can only exist in 2 places:
1. Utopia
2. small
isolated village.
if you consider all practical factors you will easily understand why communism failed miserably. you would also understand that being purists and expecting United to operate like FC is absurd, it will never happen not in this universe.
now a fair question would be - what's more important your utopia or United ?
answer this question granted that United must exist according to the laws of this world and the other alternative would be to not exist at all.
you do realize that had all 75 million turned their backs on United the club would fall apart like a deck of cards. thats another scenario that is just out of this world.
the next question would be - then what are you guys doing exactly ?
if the answer is - "formed a club for our own personal affordable enjoyment" - then its great but please dont look down at United fans just because they haven't followed your lead. we love United and we realize what entails following a big club. just like you realize what entails living in an advanced country, with a competitive employment market and we all like it even though that somewhere in the Tibetan mountains we can find communities where all possessions distributed equally.
