I can't believe that many of you feel that Stone Henge should have made the list instead of 'Christ the Redeemer'. Despite the mystery surrounding its origins, Stone Henge is a rather unspectacular collection of rocks whilst the gigantic statue of Christ not only represents something significant but also stands in a beautiful location, overlooking one of the world’s most populous cities.
I am equally stunned to hear people questioning the Taj Mahal's position as a 'wonder of the world'. I am almost certain that there are more impressive buildings in India than the Taj Mahal but you can not deny its beauty or incredible architecture. It is one of the most recognised buildings in the world and is undoubtedly something to marvel at. If there are more impressive palaces in Europe, I haven't seen them.
