What that will do is store your searches so it will remember exactly what you have typed in. That way, in case remember all of the sites you have visited, so say you wanted to have a quick peak at sky sports, simply type 's' or 'sky' into google and it will automatically fill it in, click search and it will be first there.
No-one will suspect anything because it's all done through googles searches and you can clear that whenever you want.
It's just an alternative, not sure if this is what you are looking for. I'll get into contact with some other places and see if they know of a remedy for your problem.

Not at all, don't put yourself out, that seems the most sensible solution, as everything typed into the address bar seems to go over to that history sidebar, but when you access them through google, it doesn't.
