Shawcross unsure of future at Stoke
Ryan Shawcross admits he is unsure whether Manchester United will agree to extend his loan spell at Stoke beyond January.
The recently-crowned Championship player of the month has previously outlined his desire to stay with the Potters for the rest of the season, but admits the decision is out of his hands.
He said: "It's up to United really. I don't know what's going to happen yet."
Meanwhile, Shawcross has targeted a six-point return from the upcoming Britannia Stadium double-header against QPR and Norwich.
The Potters, who have lost the last three on the bounce on home soil, travel to Burnley this weekend before hosting Rangers the following Tuesday and Norwich four days later.
And Shawcross is convinced City can banish their recent poor home form and get back in the promotion hunt.
"It's going to be a tough week and we'll be looking to get as many points out of that week as we can," said the 20-year-old.
"We go to Burnley and they could have a new manager by then so would be on a high. Then we've got two home games and we'll be looking to get six points from them."
