Anyway I kind of agree with you john. I would much rather we hadn't bought Hargreaves, especially considering the price we paid for him. I think he is our fourth best CM, fifth if you include Giggs. Should have kept the money and gone for a striker. 17mil can get you a lot more than Hargreaves.

This is the thing. Clearly the point I made is contestable, but it's something that's crossed my mind recently so I figured I'd try and generate a bit of debate, cos I'm a proper debater and that. If people disagree, that's fine, it is afterall simply my opinion. What I don't get is people criticising the Caf due to its lack of intelligent posts then calling someone all the spastics under the sun when they make a point that might be considered a little contentious. Anyway, enough of that.
I wouldn't necessarily say that he's our 4th best CM, but I do agree that his transfer fee could've been much better utilised. Like I say, hindsight is a wonderful thing and I was as pleased as anyone when he signed, but I'm just not feeling the move anymore. I'm just not feeling it.
