That is utter shite mate, sorry, but the guy is highly efficient in that area and covers a lot of ground and breaks down the opposing attacks better than Ince used to do for us (plus he also doesn’t have expectations to take on six men like Ince used to do and knows his capabilities and what his specific role is). He passes simply like a covering midfielder should, I’m not saying he sprays the ball like Veron or Beckham, I have not said he has made any seventy yard balls or anything, when I say he passes beautifully, he does it so simply, to the best-placed available man, something Eric installed in the team during his time with us.
I’m not having a crack at you individually here cocker, because you’re well supported by your mates but it seems to me like you’re consciously wanting him to be a bad player because you don’t agree with the fee we paid for him.
He was England’s best player at the last World Cup, he was part of the side that won the CL with Bayern in 2001 and several league titles for them during his time, and at 20 was keeping out German internationals like Jens Jeremies who was once known as one of the best tackling midfielders in Europe. I don’t know how you can say he isn’t class because he quite obviously is when a few months ago he was the first English midfielder on the team-sheet ahead of Gerrard, Lampard, Cole, Carrick etc.
