The famous phrase is 'Rooney's game is about more than goals'. Well that's great then, but it should be lucky us, we got a striker who can do more than just score goals ( a striker's fundamental job). I would imagine that's what you pay £27m for, a striker who can not just score the goals required, but do the rest too. But surely it should never be a substitute for actually scoring the goals. It's like saying we should spend £15m on Cicinho because he's a defender who is great going forward. If he can't actually defend that well, what's the point.

The frustrating thing with Rooney is i reckon he has it in him to score 20 a season.
