Thing is, I doubt Piqué has the pantience to wait for a regular spot. I rate him higher than Evans but I think he'll be off after next season. These are very good youngster and won't settle for the odd appearance here and there. The partnership of Rio and Vidic will last for at least another 4 years.
If one of them had to go, I'd keep Evans.
