I think they'll stay. People keep forgetting that being a squad player at Manchester United is better than being a regular starter at 99% of the other clubs in Europe.
Does anyone think John O'Shea and Wes Brown are looking back on their careers and wishing they had left for a shot at regular first-team football? I'm sure Evans and Pique will have discussed their future with other lads in the squad and had some sense talked into them.
Besides, tehy are both in a much better situation than O'Shea and Wes, because they're a good 6 or 7 years younger than the players keeping them out. No reason they can't have a good 5 or 6 years as first-choice players, when Rio and Vida call it a day. Meanwhile there will be plenty of opportunities for them both as squad players.
I think Brown will be off, mind you, to make way for them. Which is a bit sad but there you go.
