Haven't seen enough of them to have an opinion, but seeing how little time Pique has got for us this season, it seems to me that Ferguson doesn't really rate him. We haven't had too much time lost to injuries in defense, but if Pique really were ready to do the job for us, we would have given Brown or Vidic or Rio a rest or two, and thrown him into the mix. But that didn't happen - he has barely played, and when he did, he didn't make any of our back 4 worried about their place in the team.
He seems ambitious, and did an excellent job for Zaragoza in Spain last season. I believe they were offering us 7m for him over the summer. Is that right? Ferguson wanted to see if he could turn into a United player, so he kept him around this year. But seeing how little he's played...I think they'll be looking for Spanish offers for him over the summer, since he's already shown he can play in that league. Perhaps he's better suited to La Liga anyway.
Evans I've barely seen. Hear good things about him. But my guess is he'll get what Pique got this season - a chance to show that he has a future here. He can probably afford to be a bit more patient than Pique, since he can keep a place in his national squad as a backup at United, he came up with the club, and there isn't another league somewhere else where he might suspect he'd be more welcome, and more effective. Seems to be doing well at Sunderland, although I only hear that stuff second or third hand. Certainly can play in the Premiership if he's doing it competently already.
Anyway those are my guesses.
