I don't know why youngsters would even bother with the Chelsea academy, or the Arsenal one at that as it's always an uphill battle to get somewhere and I can imagine loads of youngsters throwing away a promising future because Chelsea / Arsenal didn't bother with them at the Academy level, it's the same with Spurs aswell.
Hopfully the FA will make teams have to play homegrown youngsters, I think that will be the only way to actually solve the problem.
Hats off to the teams though who are now days actually bringing through young players (Man City, Boro, Everton, yoursleves and of course west ham
