Say you sat on the freehold of a house which I claimed was mine. If I offered you a large enough sum of money to get it, would you not insist on some clauses which stopped me from being able to claim my money back in the future?
This is what Lyn's managing director said today:
"We did a settlement with Chelsea, Manchester United and John Shittu. Included in that settlement is an understanding from all parties that issues might come to daylight in the future. The settlement resolves this, and takes into account a possible court case. So we have nothing to fear from Chelsea".
