Its pathetic. Beckham was the most effective right winger in the world at that time. The reason people can demean him in hindsight is because he was more mechanic in his ability than the organic ronaldo of today. Beckham was like a robot...get the ball to him in a yard of space wide right and in the final third and you're looking at a goal scoring opportunity for the strikers 8 times out of 10 without fail.

Rio's a 10, no doubt for me. Rooney may be a better player than yorke or cole but there's no way you can give him a higher mark on this seasons form. Also its worth noting that yorke and cole were greater than the sum of thier individual parts
