A two state solution is what israel has been offering for ages, yet we're still the butchers/conquerers/war-mongers/murderers many have us portrayed. In contrast, Mr. Jimmy Carter makes it to the ME, and gets a statement from the Palestinians that they are willing to accept a two state solution, one Palestinian and the other also soon-to-be Palestinian ("right of return"), with Jerusalem as capital of the already Palestinian state. Of course there is no recognition in that other soon-to-be Palestinian part for the estimated 10 years it would take for that country to become also fully Palestinian.
This is simply an offer we could not refuse.
