Don't remember the build up to it as it was about 10 years ago, maybe more, but that sounds about right.
My point wasn't that Israel does it too, it's that the UN is fairly toothless in these matters.
I only remember it as my bro-in-law had been working in that area for the UN (courtesy of the Irish armed forces) so it was close to home, so to speak.
