Yeah about that depending on what time/form of travel. Last time I made the journey it was from Chandigarh to Jalandhar very early morning, took a little over 3 hours I'd say. There's an ever-increasing interest in Cricket in Punjab now, my cousin was telling me that all of a sudden there's a lot more facilities open to youngsters interested in the game; far more youth teams, new pitches created etc. All sounds pretty positive.

Cricket has been the most popular sports in India for over a decade now. I remember, kids in my area used to play on the roofs or on the streets with those rubber balls which used to get ripped after about 5 overs. Good to see more investment to improve facilities.
