He's also staggeringly useless and moody. Like Ruud but a tenth as talented.
Basically the Muppet Show saw him score a couple of goals and noticed he wasn't English, so they went all ga ga over him.
There's no convincing the Muppet Show of the error of their ways once they've set their mind on someone.
