I like Dean Ashton, he's a good player with a good touch and finishing ability. For £8million I'd bring him in as a alternative to Rooney and Tevez. His injury problems are in the main related to breaking his ankle, and that can happen to anyone; it's knee and recurring muscle problems you have to watch out for.
We can't expect everyone in the squad to be world class, some players need to be good honest players of this ilk.
