I think Fergie will have a good crack at getting Benzema or Berbatov in to be honest, but who knows what he has planned. I think he'll spend big on a striker though. Then i'd assume he'd rotate often between Rooney, Tevez and this new striker, with number 4 acting as a backup and spend a lot of the season on the bench, which is why i think Manucho or Wellbeck would be suitable for that role for about a season. The 7 subs rule is good because it allows to effectively have 4 strikers in the squad.
Something like this next season is what i'd expect.
Rooney, Tevez, New striker, Wellbeck/Manucho.
I wouldn't complain about that as long whoever is brought in (if anyone at all) is of the required quality.
Like i said though, none of us know for sure what Fergie has planned. He could bring in two strikers or none all, i just think line-up above is what is likely. Allows him to spend big on one striker, especially with what we'll get for Saha (which may be feck all, but hopefully a decent amount off someone willing to gamble on his injury problems) and that would probably be it for the spending unless we do go for a right back as well.
