I think youre on to something there. It is similar in a way to how I felt about the other CL semi final:

Beating Liverpool in the final would be better than beating Chelsea.

Losing to Liverpool in the final would be more unbearable than losing to Chelsea.

So what do you do? Go for the ultimate high, or protect yourself from the ultimate pain?

Earlier I couldnt pick one but now I think Im gravitating towards wanting the CL more. As others have said, we just have not won that cup enough times, we have to put it right.

But Chelsea stand in the way of the CL Cup whereas it's Wigan for the Premiership. Which, let's face it, is an easier prospect. So if we blow one, it will probably be the CL.
