Idiots aside - and we have more than a few of those amongst the United support - I think the opposing fans generally add to the forum. A different perspective can be quite useful, and it helps to keep things from being a total wankfest.

Oh no I can appreciate their presence, some of their threads and posts really do crack me up, especially from our LFC supporting friends
