Of the 3, Manucho is the most proven - but we still need someone more proven than that. Frankly, everyone we've been linked to is more proven and experienced. Thats why we've been linked with them, because they have performed well in their European leagues.
The point I was making was that we already have that type of player in our ranks (SAF seems confident about the permit) so we dont really
need someone of the exact same mold. We have great off-strikers in Rooney and Tevez, we have a slightly proven tall striker who is great in the air and then we have a Championship-proven speed demon in Campbell and a barely proven skillful striker, still with some decent pace, in Welbeck.
We have most things covered there. Whoever we buy will surely fit into one or several of the above categories - but we dont really need any specific one.
