But i ask, How old was Cantona when we bought him? How old was Sheringham when we signed him?

What i'm trying to say is that if the sole reason people don't want to sign Berbatov is because he's 27 and not 20 then that is stupid.

Cantona and Sheringham were both older than 25 when we bought them and yet have become two of the most important players of all time for this club.

Benzema would be better, but i'd take Berbatov/Owen in a heart beat.
