But he seems to be very highly rated by those who have regularly seen him play and based on this - and also based on many reports that he was widely sought after - IMO Spurs have done exceptionally well to sign him.

Don't worry GlastonSpur, he is quality and it'll only be a few seasons before man utd bid £30 mill for him. I can't believe non of the muppets on here wanted Modric at united but rest assured they'll be wanking themselves to death over him come the next couple of seasons. Oh wait when has that happened before...........
