Arsenal - I think they are still in a need of a striker with Eduardo injured for a considerable period of next season and in a questionable form after injury (possibly), they will probably go and sign someone for cheap but I'd suggest Jeremy Menez of Monaco.

Aston Villa - they need someone to replace Mellberg swiftly, and to cover for a right-back position as well. Not many players like that on the market though, they will probably make a move for someone like Rangers' Cuellar.

Blackburn - they need a bit of creativity in midfield, and they will probably look abroad for that. Go for Tiago, I say.

Bolton - tyou can't cope with Kevin Davies as your only striker at this level. Diouf is also leaving so they need someone with pace. Possibly Saha, which would be a great move for literally every side involved.

Chelsea - feck knows, they will probably make a move for big names with Ronaldinho being one of them. I could see them signing him, unless Milan trigger the move eventually, though it probably depends on their inclusion in Champions League which seems doubtful. I can't believe Chelsea have lost all their interest, Abramovich was mad about Ronnie not so long ago.

Everton - I'd say their squad is pretty much completed, although they may find some quick winger handy as van der Meyde hasn't exactly turned the way they expected him to. Perhaps they will look abroad too, and perhaps they will sign someone who will shine at Euro. And it could be Blaszczykowski.

Fulham - firstly they need to keep hold of Jimmy Bullard, who I regard as an excellent playmaker who the likes of Blackburn could really find handy. Then they will need to strengthen their defence by adding someone experienced. I cannot really find any names, don't ask me.

Liverpool - a new year.

Midlesbrough - with Alves they will be really threatening upfront, if they can secure some delivery by signing a creative playmaker. Should battle for Tiago, although I don't know if he would find a move to such club interesting.

Manchester City - they will do well to keep their most influential players, then they will sign another striker, possibly Crouch, who will turn to be not good enough for their chairman. A joke of a club.

Manchester United - can't comment.

Newcastle - they will go for big names, we will probably see Newcastle being linked with handful of respected players and ending up with flops.

Portsmouth - they don't really need to make any signing, unless it's a defender.

Stoke - they need to take example of Derby and refuse to play in the league.

Sunderland - waste of money predicted.

Tottenham - Mahamadou Diarra, because someone else suggested it.

West Ham - visit Premiership physio room and pick up every single player. Possibly Saha and long retired Haaland.

West Brom - they have just signed Majewski of Groclin, who they will find very helpful if they decide to play him (I'm not sure they will).

Wigan - feck knows, they don't sign well-known players anymore.
