Maybe it should be a few games just to stop a manager playing his entire reserve team in one fixture, but ten games is actually quite a lot (it's more than a quarter of the season for goodness' sake!). Players like Kuszczak and Pique play a vital role in the squad -- solid backups who can be called upon when needed. They could be elsewhere playing first team football but they're not; they're here. True enough. But let`s just say that it was 1 game, and Fergie decided to play the Wellbecks and Simpsons and Dongs in a last game, I mean who would care? It`s a happy moment for everyone involved, and if you`re in the squad you get your medal. I think it would be a nice thing, the young lads would feel even closer to the squad and what not.
Anyhow, ten games is too much. Five should be tops, and three would be more suitable, IMO.
