Does he deserve a medal?

No. Officially he does not.
If we lose stupidly to Wigan, and Chelsea nick the title, do we still win the leaque on the basis that we contribute and play better football?
Sorry, if he does makes that 2 saves, history will remember him as the man without medal who won the leaque.
That'll be all.
If by saying that a contribution is a contribution, every player who sets foot in the pitch is contributing, we can say that since we won with 2 points difference, than any sub we bring is indeed influential, since without them it can go either way.
Plus, every team got extra medal to hand to whoever they think deserves it.
PS: also in addition, if indeed PIG make that 2 saves, and he got the medal, wouldn't it be fair to the others who didn't make that glamorous 2 saves and 10 games to have got no medal ?
This will be and endless circle.
