Do not read anything into what he said. Why do you want to love him as a person? Love him as a player who scores for us and win us trophies, then you will feel better! Do not fall into the Spanish trap!

Did I mention loyalty? I talked about respect. It's completely different thing. It's one thing wanting to play for them one day and it's a different thing talking like that while the final of the CL approaches. He should measure his comments a bit better only as a sign of respect to everybody involved in the club and appreciate what this club has given him. I don't think that showing respect towards arguably the greatest football club on earth is that diffucult.
