Manchester United centre back Gerard Pique reportedly travelled to a Barcelona hospital on Friday to undertake a medical.
The former Barca player, who has never been given the chance to show himself on a regular basis at Old Trafford, is being strongly linked with a return to his old club.
Barca are planning a major overhaul of their playing staff and Pique has been targeted as the replacement for Lilian Thuram, who is set to leave in the summer, and the injured Gabriel Milito.
United are focusing on the Champions League final and a deal is unlikely to be wrapped up before Wednesday’s clash with Chelsea.
However, Spanish media reports state a deal is ‘total’, with the fee believed to be in the region of £3.5 million.

but considering he has hardly played much , and other than being excellent on FM , he hasnt done too well ... i can live with him leaving ... but that price still sucks
