You and me both mate. Problem is if I stand up in court and he goes down because of my statement, his missus' relatives will pretty much make my life a living hell. I already had to walk through a crowd of death threats when leaving the pub tonight. Apparently they're going to 'fuckin kill me'. Awesome. Took a hit to the back of the head earlier, but because I didn't see who done it the police don't reckon they can do much about it. Another hour and a half spent in a police station giving my statement, only for sweet FA to happen from it. The original case has already been sent back by the courts once because apparently my statement didn't make sense. Turns out the police officer who took my statement on the night my mate eneded up in hospital kept confusing the attacker with the victim
