It was a bit of an annoyance for my old man to drive 5 hrs each way for matches, and i suppose if i was raised in an area where there was a local footy team i'd be a fan of theirs, but since there wasnt and everyone around me was a united fan, it just ended up happening that way, can't say i regret it though.
I suppose every schoolboy needs a team to support, we just didnt' have one where i lived
, so my primary school was all arsenal or united fans, and one chelsea fan, kept calling the 4-0 FA cup win a fluke, still remember that haha.
