Fuck it. He's by far the best defender on the planet, and probably the best i've seen play for United.
What does piss me off is when people completely miss the point in regards to his talents and make out that Vidic is the defender as opposed to Rio who is the footballer. He is an absolutely brilliant header of the ball, his positioning is as good as it gets, his fitness and strength are both top notch, he's faster than Eto'o and Torres and he even has the bonus of being a techincally gifted player.
For me, his past exploits have been long forgotten. If he somehow manages to keep this up, he'll go down as one of the truly great defenders.
