It's all about how much the buyer is prepared to pay and how much they (Spurs) can entice out of them. As a player, he has not broken any records or helped his team win any major trophy or shown himself to be amongst the elite of the best in the world. That's not to say he is not a good player - simply a player in demand and connected to a club (Man Utd)who are one of the most successful and richest.

Spurs bought him from Germany for (what was it) £10m? Add a few more million for doing well in the Premiership and his price should be about £12 to £15m - anything beyond that is simple pure profit.

Also, Spurs have priced him at £25m for a European sale and £35m for a Premiership sale. A massive discrepancy of £10m - the price Spurs bought him for.

Ronaldinho is arguably still one of the best players in the world and roughly the same age as Berbatov yet the better player (Ronaldinho) is priced way below him. Both have attitude problems, both need strong leadership.

That for me, defies all logic and sense.
