The problem is that we have an amazing attacking trio already with ronaldo, rooney, and tevez. These are the players that are the core of the team at the moment. However, if we bring in a big player like Eto'o, he would expect to take someone's place, and he might start throwing a fit if he's not first choice.
That being said, I agree with the majority of the posters that this is more of a man management problem than anything else, and we have the best manager in football for dealing with these types of situations. Eto'o is definitely class, and if he is able to accept that he will have to work hard to earn a place in the starting 11, he is well worth the 15 or million so pounds that we would have to pay.
