I think Eto'o could be a good signing too but there are definitely reasons why we might stay clear.

1. He is a potential problem in the dressing room, some people don't want us to sign Berbatov because of his attitude but Eto'o makes Berbatov look like fucking Scholes with his strops.

2. He has a fucked right knee. In the last two seasons he's started only half of Barca's league games. We've had such a frustrating time with Saha in that same period that Fergie will surely think twice before signing a replacement who potentially has the exact same problem. In addition when I saw him play last season the fitness problems seemed to have hurt his pace which is his strongest asset as a striker, I don't know if he'll be able to get that back.

3. Signing Manucho means we're already going to be losing one forward to the African Cup every other season. Fergie might not want to put himself in a situation where he'll be losing two players in the same position at the same time.

I think if we can get him cheap enough then he's worth a shot because if he stays fit and gets back to his best then he'll be absolutely perfect as a different option to Rooney and Tevez but it has to be noted that there are a lot of negatives against his name which will put managers off.
