The club's general director Sergei Shavlo declared: " We have had two offers. One is from an English team.

"Since it's not a team playing in the Champions League we are more likely than not to reject their offer."

Meanwhile, Leyton Orient have signed Spurs striker Simon Dawkins, 20, on a six-month loan deal.

This follows the departure of youngster Joe Martin to Blackpool on a two-year-deal
That champions league bit is a bit odd, do they mean from the point of view of the player wanting to play at that level. Or do they believe they could get more money from a club playing in the CL?

I only saw him at the Euro's and before that i'll be honest and say i hadn't really heard too much about him.

As i've said before though 'd be wary of signing a player on the back of a decent performance at the Euro's. Its not always a good way to judge a player.
