I know exactly what you mean, but judging on last season alone, maybe he's less 2 dimensional than we might have thought ?!

I think he's an intelligent manager who plays to the strengths of what he's got to work with. Slick, passing, attacking football at Leicester or Wolves would have been pointless. As decent players have come through at Villa, he's started to free up the play a bit, and I think he'd be up for the challenge at Utd.
