The way I see it is that United are a notoriously slow starting team. We have lost out, in what is a nothing trophy. Come the end of the season, your happiness as a fan is not dictated by the Super Cup.

We are still bringing the team together in terms of injuries and suspensions. A lot of people seem to be carpetting Nani and Neville, but that was their first competitive game of the season.

Rooney and Tevez is actually still a budding partnership. They have not featured all that heavily together.

I read the posts on here and can understand the passion, but we are really too fecking early in the season to start making pessimistic proclamations based on the fact that Berbatov isn't signed yet etc etc.

How many points did we have at this stage last season? Give it time.
