I'm guessing that Islam will become watered down to some degree, much like we see with most Christians in Britain. With relative economic prosperity the need for god seems to fade slightly. Or maybe it will become franchised and marketed like has happened to religion in the United States. Either way I think it will likely become less of a unified force. I find it hard to imagine young people in 20 years time living in relative comfort, surrounded by the fruits of a technological and scientific age, yet still thinking it necessary to find time to pray five times a day.

I also am confident of winning a war of ideas if we have to.

All speculation of course.
