Yes I know there is an independent Tajikstan, but theres a great deal of Tajiks in the Russian mainland, and they're Muslim. All those ethnicities within Dagestan are also mostly Muslim. Its hardly an immigration issue then is it.
These Chechen batallions you're going on about are obviously going to be conscripts; the Chechen war itself technically isnt over either since there are numerous insurgents operating within the area. Only the official Russian counter-terrorist operations have ended there for now, most Chechen Parliamentarians are still seeking full independence.
