Cooper is doing well. I read on another forum that he gets regular 8 aside games with the first team squad, he playing the 'Ruud' role for the other team.
There was a bit of argument on one yank site because many were saying he couldn't be that good because he never did anything in the US and he is just a commercial 'yank' signing with an english passport. The U20 coach saw him play half a game and left for lunch at half time, missing Coopers second half hat-trick. He only took interest after Utd offered him a contract, and Cooper declined the offer of training with the U20's to concentrate on United
