I've taken the liberty of running through the match report on Royal Antwerp's website via a free online translation site, and have come up with some interesting, and hilarious results. It's not foolproof, so cut me some slack here!
I'm also amazed how no one seems to care nor even mention about the other Manchester United players who are in the Royal Antwerp squad. Souleymane Mamam, who is at least three years younger than Eddie Johnson and Mads Timm, has already established himself in the Antwerp first eleven as an attacking midfielder. Arthur Gomez was on the bench with Bardsley for the game against Heusden-Zolder. Not sure what's happened with Abdulrahman Yasser Hussain, read some good things about him, but seems to be missing, either due to injury or Qatar national team duty.
So here's the translation of the three bits in the match report that mentioned Eddie Johnson. Mamam also played in the starting eleven, but the report made no comment about his performance.
(1) Anwerp plays again with a strengthened middle field and with Shishuba in support of simply pointed Eddie Johnson.
[I take it that Johnson was the centre-forward spearhead a la Van Nistelrooy]
(2) Eddie Johnson sticks than become nose at the window, after badly remove of the visiting apology, but be shot through a green-white bone cracked. Heusden is boss Antwerp not tries well on to fall, and in the end phase of the first half even fanatical, but it hits really till in the neighborhood of Bailly. We drink tea by 0-1
[Hilarious. It probably means Johnson really got stuck in Hughes/Whiteside-style.]
(3) Sishuba enters only through on Bailly, the Heusdense goalie can its shot yet stop but the goedgevolgde and tireless Johnson kicks the 1-1.
[God knows what's "goedgevolgde", but if its paired with "tireless", we can safely assume it's a good thing! Sounds like a creditable performance overall.]
